Ring To Cage made the decision of duplicating Winning’s successful glove design. Instead of simply copying it, they put their own spin to it. They made modifications that made them different and more affordable.

The most notable feature of Ring To Cage’s C17 Japanese Style Boxing Gloves is its layered padding. The protection these gloves provide is almost on par with Winning. They are durable since the liner and foams used are very similar to Winning. The heavy nylon lining has also been made thicker and more durable compared to previous versions of the R2C C17. More importantly, these gloves have little to no need of a “break in period”. That means no uncomfortable or painful phases from the start.

We read different reviews, asked coaches, boxers, watched documentaries and every other way to get this information.

After many exhaustive hours of research, we are proud to present to you….

The Top Three Best Pro Fight Gloves

3. Everlast Pro MX

Everlast Pro MX Fight Gloves

Make no mistake, the Everlast Pro MX Fight Gloves are the real deal. Yes, many of Everlast’s cheaper models are terrible. However, their high-end gloves are still one of the best.

Matt Cowan, Everlast’s VP of product and marketing, said they experimented in the gloves’ construction. Different types of leather were brought in until they got a perfect combination that met their standards. They ultimately decided that “ironing the leather” was best and used as its final construct. This gave the Pro MX its wrinkly, waxy finish.

The Pro MX are Mexican gloves specifically created for professional fights. Don’t let the “Everlast creates low quality gloves” sayers fool you. These gloves, even in the wrong boxer’s hands, can straight up destroy you in the ring.

The gloves are pretty much puncher’s gloves because they have lesser padding in the knuckle area than Cleto Reyes gloves. Yes, you read that right.

The Everlast Pro MX Fight Gloves have lesser padding than Cleto Reyes Gloves.

The Pro MX has a mix of horsehair and foam as padding. Everlast also experiment with this combination and ended with a hybrid padding that seems to be quite hard. As a result, the wrist cuff doesn’t move as much, even though it has more padding than the knuckle area.

Don’t believe me? See here.

Maybe this was the reason Mayweather Jr. didn’t want to fight Maidana in these.

Well, Speaking of Mayweather….

2. Grant Pro Fight Gloves

Grant Pro Fight GlovesLike the pro sparring gloves, Grant Pro Fight Gloves are puncher’s gloves made for boxers with brittle hands. It has a nice fit, better padding, and you can choose to get it custom made to your specifications.

Grant Pro Fight Gloves have thinner padding in the knuckle area compared to the pro sparring gloves. However, they have the same amount of padding in the wrist area.

You could say these Pro Fight gloves have the perfect padding – it’s not too soft, not too stiff – and, as mentioned earlier, well padded in the wrist area, which makes it great for defensive-type boxers.

The gloves’ balanced overall weight distribution provide boxers great control over their hands and punches without sacrificing knuckle protection.

1. Cleto Reyes Pro Fight Gloves

Cleto Reyes Pro Fight GlovesWas there any doubt? These are the ultimate fight night gloves. While Grant Pro Fight Gloves have the perfect padding, these gloves enable you to make a perfect fist.

Cleto Reyes Pro Fight gloves are comfortable, made of high quality materials and created with extreme detail and care. They are double stitched, made from the finest leather construct, and has water repellent lining.

The horsehair and foam padding are very soft. It is almost sponge-like, which makes it easy to make a fist. Once you do make a fist, your knuckles can be felt through the padding.

Cleto Reyes Pro Fight Gloves are the most well-done Mexican Gloves today. Boxers who wear these gloves are often “KO Artists” because most have above-average punching power.

Who can blame them?

Cleto Reyes Pro Fight Gloves have a great natural snug fit (it’s almost the gloves are not there), your opponent can really feel your punches, and most importantly, boxers experience great comfort while wearing the gloves.
What do you think?

Are the Cleto Reyes Pro Fight Gloves the best boxing gloves for Professional fights?

Are the Winning Training Gloves the best boxing gloves for Sparring and Training?
